Responsibilities:
Development, implementation and maintenance of Human Resource Strategy Assisting, advising and training of management and supervisors in the execution of daily IR and HR responsibilities Ensuring compliance of the company to all relevant labour related legislation including the implementation and execution of Employment Equity and Skills Development Communication with employees, external service providers and consultations with labour union Chairperson of EE/Skills Development Forum and Management/Shop Steward meeting. Reports to the Operations Director
Requirements:
Tertiary Human Resources Qualification or related National Diploma Registered Human Resources Practitioner and Registered Skills Development Facilitator 8Years post qualification experience as generalist HR Practitioner in a manufacturing/union orientated environment 3 Years in a managerial position Working knowledge of labour legislation including the LRA, BCEA, Skills Development and Employment Equity Acts, and MEIBC Main Agreement Experience in design, implementing and maintaining Workplace Skills Plans, Employment Equity Processes Code 8 Drivers license
